Aboslute graphics suck, both the regular and the PT. The Transcend looks good, the Marius is ok. _________________

Jensen, what? You don't like the A's? Packers? Sonics?
In all honesty, I think the 07 Abs Plat and the 05 Abs Plat are the sweetest looking boards ever produced. With the 05 Team a close third. _________________

haugy, We match! Except mine is a 141 with a 135 sticker on it. Keeps most from wanting to try my board.
Sweet board, can I check it out... oh wait, it's a 135 that is way small for me.
Hahaha little do they know....
I think I am gonna work my way into the Marius with Pure graphics for my next trick he he he.... _________________

Is that the same shape as my 06 Absolute Platinum?
I took the fins off my board about a month ago and I can never go back now. |

The Headless Chicken, lucky for you, the Fuse and Deuce are even better for 07. _________________

Sure disagree about the giummick comment. I know so many intermediate and beginner riders that almost gave up this gay sport because of getting in and out of their boots.
now they love it. _________________ I had ribs for lunch. |

| B_Fool, ya the gimmick thing is a joke. for as popular as the torqs were ive only heard two negative things about them, and they were like freak accidents. I dunno they just seem way too stiff for me. so that leaves the fuse out. so that leaves one binding in the whole line. i dont know why it bothers me but i dont like buying a product marketed as a mid-range binding. maybe i'll look into it. |

You think they will produce enough of the damn things? I could never find the factions in stock anywhere for any length of time here in Dallas. _________________ My therapist says it is all your fault. |

n00b, you are correct sir.
gene3x, yes.
The Headless Chicken, the mid range binding is the Torq. The Faction (or Fuse) is what you want based on your stiffness issue. _________________

| chavez, ummmm. with only two bindings being under the torqs price wise the torqs appear to be more of an entry-level beginner binding. did you read my post i want a binding that isnt stiff? the fuse as marketed as the stiffest binding with the most support and the faction has the hinge which I think doesnt allow for enough flex. CWB doesnt give very many options if you dont like the hinge. |

The Headless Chicken, the Fuse is not that stiff. Trust me. It has a high ankle wrap for the support but stiff it is not (IMO).
The Faction is definitely very flexible hinge or not. You may also like the Deuce which now also sports the articulated toe system.
IMO, the stiffest in CWB's line is by far the Zeus.
2007 has the "beginner" hinge binding in the Seven. 3 years ago, I would not have considered the Seven as the "entry level" or "beginner" binding. I certainly don't think the Torq is necessarily a "beginner" binding either. I would call it a "price point" binding, but not a "beginning" binder.
All that said I think anything below the Fuse and Zeus are perfectly fine for any level rider. _________________

| chavez, for a twenty dollar price difference i dont really think you can call the seven a beginner binding and the torq mid-range. For twenty bucks, I dont see why anyone would buy the seven instead of the torq unless they want more adjustibility but thats a different topic. I guess the beginner label is somewhat unfair and misleading. I think the torq and seven both fit into the same category at the bottom of the cwb line and then the faction deuce and vapor make up the mid-range in the line up. I'll look at the fuse but I've always heard that it was as stiff if not stiffer than the zeus. tried on the faction, you wont change my mind the hinge just doesnt allow for real good flexibility. |

| chavez, I agree with you. I personally love the absolute and the plat version. You were deffinatly right about cosmetically upgrading. Thanks for the info ahead of time. Can't wait to get my hands on a plat and possibly some bindings..... |

The Fuse is definately the stiffest in the group of CWB bindings.
Also, the Factions seem to flex just fine. _________________ My therapist says it is all your fault. |
