help w/ pulling out small sections from DVD

For a few moments I was in waketv's newest dvd cablestock. Is there anyway to capture just these small clips of the dvd? Thanks

yes you can
you would basically have to rip the video and audio off. then chop down what you extracted.

there are websites dedicated to this, just do a search for dvd ripping

Or you could just try to record it while the DVD is playing. You won't get the same quality, but it's faster and easier.

That won't work unless you have a macrovision-free player.

If you have a digital camcorder, you could patch the DVD player to the camera to the computer and capture it that way. Ripping the chapter that your riding part is on is probably the best idea. Check out www.dvdrhelp.com.

I doubt waketv is copy protected due to the costs...

If you have a dvd-rom drive, i think you can copy the chapter of the dvd that you're in and then capture it from there.

I'm pretty sureit's not copy protected. They made all the dvd's over night in their van.

Yeah, it's nuts how fast that guy made the video. I like the ending of the dvd, i think you have to skip a section or something and they show the boat sinking scene w/ matt =P
