Found a 1999 Supra Launch. No tower. Very low hours (80) It's listed at 19,700. See Ad:
http://adcache.boattraderonline.com/6/6/0/79890160.htm
Tried doing a search for other 1999 Supra's and can't find any other ones for sale.
Anybody have any experience behind this boat? Is it the same hull as the newer Launch boats, which I understand make a great wake.
Just basically looking for some opinions on what ya think of the boat. If I could pick it up this fall and work on it in my garage to add a tower, and some internal ballast system I'm thinking it would be a nice set up? |

| I've never rode behind one, but I have heard that the supra launch makes a great wake with ballast. I dunno alout about the boat, I just have heard that, and you would need to put a tower on it, but I would seriously think about buying that boat. |

looks sharp, but I can't believe it only has 80 hours after (not yet) 7 years?
that's not even 10 hours a season?

Low hours concerns me? I've heard it's not good for motors to just sit idle. I wonder if the boat was sitting in storage for a couple years or what? In one of the photos the tag on the steering wheel says winterized 10-25-04. So it probably never saw water since then I'm guessing? I found the same boat on useboats.com and I think it said it had a 100 hours? Either way that's low. Although, you have to remember up here in the great white north we only get 3 "good" months of riding if your lucky!
One other thing, is there anyway to fix that fade line? Is is something you can do yourself? Or are ya talking about a new paint job? |

My understanding is this hull is the same hull as the current 21v, but they tweaked it a little bit for the v-drive.
The fading can be fixed, just take it to a gel-coat place and they will fix it right up, I am sure someone on here knows how to get it better at home. I know there is a gelcoat place in deforest wisconsin for sure which is a few hours from you.
If you want to check out what this hull is capable of in the 21v version come down to janesville sometime...
btw... I work for Wausau (Financial Systems) across from the airport there in mosinee!
If you want info as far as pricing you could call lauderdale lakes marina in elkhorn wi and I am sure they would help you figure a fair price for that boat.
Also be sure to check out midwestwakeboarder.com alot of wisconsin guys on there!
and yes I think that would be a sweet set up as welll! _________________ www.midwestwakeboarder.com

The guy from the dealer just emailed me and said the actual hours for that boat is only 34! He said it hasn't been used in a "few" years. Do I need to be concerned about an engine that hasn't been used in a few years? _________________ "This is looking really good" |

You may need to charge up the battery. The duel speedomiters are nice, ive got those in my boat. Yea if your worried, just have them do what I said, lube it and all that. Launches are very nice boats, and 21 feet is nice. The "trim tab" on the back is very nice, thats definatly a plus, if I were you id definatly buy it. And it also has a extended pylon, that goes pretty much as high as a tower. _________________ 2 Hands Working Do More Than 1000 Hands Praying |

| Looks like it sat in water for an extended period of time. Beware of blistered gel coat. |
