what would you call a heelside batwing? maybe an indy glide? Indy 911?
My friend just pulled one off a triple up, probably the sickest thing I've ever seen, but we don't know what to call it! (oddly enough, other than raleys, it's the only trick he can do!)

nevermind, I just answered it myself. It's an indy glide. The "trick list" on this site is quite helpful.

I was wondering about your friend: he only can do raleys and indy glides...

Confused

It's true. I mean he does 180's and grabs and all, he's even got a few 360's behind a jetski, but behind a boat, Raleys are it. He got 2 indy glides that day. The kid's kind of a natural at boardsports, he can pick up a skateboard and be doing a new trick in 20 minutes (it took him like 10 minutes to get a kickflip down) and he snowboards once a year for about a week, and he grinds and does 3's all over the terrain parks. It's crazy riding with him, somehow he can throw anything, and get close to landing it, he just doesn't quite have anything dialed except for raleys.

that is VERY impressive, i think indy glides were by far the hardest glide to learn

kyle, I'm scared to even try it. The only one I can do is a TS stalefish glide. Fun as hell though.

LakeIolaLuke, Indy Glides are a weird animal...If you are thinking about trying a glide other than a hoochie (which is the easiest of the glides) or an OHH but OHHs aren't as fun, I would go with a nuclear glide. Nuclear glides are way overrated on dificulty level. They are much easier than Indy Glides, i would say

Nuke is like a crail, but on the HS edge of the board, right?

LakeIolaLuke, yeah and you dont get cranked all the way around like you do with an indy glide, easier to keep the board under you

on the indy glide, just come in crouched, with your weight just a little more on your back foot, then at the wake, puch hard off your back leg, and bend your knees up to get the grab immediately, then i just look at the spot i hit the wake at till i feel like im coming down, then just try to snap the handle to your BACK hip, and ride away.
