| I just picked up a 06' Liquid Force Waston 142 Board and the 06' Watson Ltd bindings the other day. When I received the board there was a package that came with four plastic washers. I start reading the LF binding manual and find out that the four washers are to go over the screws, which then attached the pro plate to the boot. Problem is that there were only four washers included, when there should have been eight, four for each boot. I call the shop I bought it from and the guy was saying it was crap and you don't need the washers. I questioned him why it even came with four then and why the manual was showing the washers. In any case he wasn’t very helpful so I left a message with the LF customer service dept about whether these washers are necessary when attaching the proplate to the boot. So far I haven't recd a callback. If the washers are not needed that is fine, but I don't want the bindings breaking a year later then LF saying "Well you should have had the washers on there" Basically I am asking all of you whether or not these washers are needed? Sorry for the long message, but any help is appreciated. |

| dont need the washers for the bindings but the screws for the fins are to long to go through the board, so you should of gotten a plate but if u ever use the fins the washers are to prop the screws up. |

| Ok I heard from LF customer service. They said the washers are not needed due to a redesign of the Pro Plate itself. This eliminated the need for these plastic washers. I guess then LF just didn't bother to change the binding manuals. In any case I have this in writing from them so I don't have to have any warranty battles should one arise. Thanks for all the input and this setup is just great. Tried it out for the first time this weekend. |
