Surface 180's are near impossible with the fins on, anyway, i prefer to keep the fins off because it teaches much better carving. _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life. |

I know its easier to do without fins but I share a board with my freind and were always on a limited time frame so I can't really ruin his run by taking them off then putting them back on
My toeside jumps are alright but im still kinda sketchey on them
And its probably because youve been doing it for a while so you know what you are doing |

| ok then try a toeside 180. the toeside 180s r so much easier cause u land on ur switchstance heels. remember to take of on ur toes and land on ur heels. tell us how it goes later. |

wakedjs679, oh, but don't you kinda have to fight the water a bit with that kind of resistance? _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life. |

keep it all on your heels man, kick your heel around and lean back.. you should slide around, i learned on a board with huge fins (1.7) and then borrow my friends .5 inch ones and could do surface 360's my first try, so if you can learn with fins on it will be better in the long run peace _________________

or try to just jump? |

Make sure you load the line before you ollie though, as in the line has a lot of tension. _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life. |

you might want to look into getting some shorter fins - i have pulled off surface 180's with fins as big as 1.25" (rainbow bat wings), but they are much easier with the obrien glock fins i have (.5" and .75"). they aren't cheap - usually about $20 each, but well worth it. _________________ you have the right to remain silent, so shut the hell up! |

| i can do 360s on the water easy with fins on its just about doing the spin quik dont hesitate halfway through, it also helps to be on the wake and your fins wont catch thw water. |
