I have a 15ft glasstream(an older boat) and i can't get more than a foot of air. I don't have tower either. The rope is going off the back of the boat. How long would a good rope be and is there a certain speed i should go? I could really use the help.
it would be better if you had the little pylon, but just keep the line tension tight and get a progressive edge all the way to the wake and stand tall when you hit the wake to get more pop
The speed is your preference and so is pretty much the line length. Like boarder_boy said, just use a progressive edge. _________________ It won't be easy, but when I get there it will be one of the most satisfying journeys of my life.
i'm being pulled by the stern like this guy as well and i've been workin on the progressive edge thing and it just never feels like im getting fast enough or i'll lean a bit more and the line'll lose tension but without doing that i just cant clear the dang wake i get maybe like 2-4ft in the air and make it past the whiter part of the inside of the wake not sure what it's called. Is it all just technique or is my rope to long for the stern? its a 75ft rope thinkin maybe shortening it to where ever is the larger part might be a good idea?
