I have been wakeboarding for almost 4 straight years. I love the water, the atmosphere, the girls.....everything about the lake life RULES. But i've got a small problem, my dad sold our only boat and now I have nothing to ride when I want to go out. I am blessed to have friends with nice nice nice boats.
2004 Mastercraft X-star (3000lbs ballest)
2005 Super Air 210 TE
2005 Centerion Air Warrior C4 V-drive
But I am getting tired of having to call these ppl every freaking time I want to ride, and most of the time they can't go out when i can and i can't go out when the can. Anyway im not crying to any1, but i am considering picking up surfing or something that does not require a boat b/c its to much of a pain to bum rides every time i wanna ride. ( AND IM IN SCHOOL RIGHT NOW SO I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH $$$ TO BUY MY OWN BOAT). |

1. Kick, scream and throw a total fit on the floor until your daddy buys you a new boat.
or.
2. Play the hand your dealt. Deal with it, work hard, get a good job and buy your own boat. Use it as motivation to do good in school, get a great job and be able to get the boat of your dreams.
You young'ns kill me. SO many threads on this board about "daddy sold the boat... poor me..." Entitlement society. Get off your ass, get motivated, get it done. _________________ My beer drinking friends have a wake boarding problem. |

I'd rather surf than wakeboard anyday, but that's just me. No gas, no boat, just you a board and the ocean.
When you have a mutual time to wakeboard with your friends then go wakeboard, otherwise go surf mang! |

If I lived near the ocean, I would try kiteboarding and if the waves were big enough surfing. A lot of wakeboarders get their fix MXing.
Sounds like you got pretty good rides for wakeboarding anyways and will just have to deal with their schedules. Tis the life of a boat whore. |

| Just be thankful you have friends with nice boats who are willing to give you pulls every once in a while. I'd say start surfing as well, but don't give up making those annoying calls asking your buddies to take you out riding. |
