A couple of years ago the word was out that surfing was not allowed at Shasta Lake. Does anybody know if this is still the case?

we asked the rangers in june when we were there, they said it was TEAK surfing that isnt allowed. they even watched us for a bit, if you are really concerned, ask a ranger.
