Ok, so I'd like to try to add a new invert before the summer is done. Right now I have the HS Backroll and TS Frontroll. I can never seem to get a good enough pop when I try Tantrums, so I'm gonna rule those out. I guess that leaves the HS Frontflip, TS Backroll, and TS Frontflip.

I'm leaning towards the TS Backroll, but I'm worried that since I've always had problems with the Tantrum, I might have a hard time rotating it. I understand the edge is completely different, but does it feel the same in the air, or is it more like a HS Backroll?

Any advice on what I should try next? Tips on what to do?

If you can do a frontroll you should be able to land a scarecrow no problem as long as your switch hs landings are solid.

if you feel good about your heelside and able to frontflip go for roll to revert. or just do a hs frontflip. It feels great and gives a good pop.

I'm not sure if you'd say it's a new invert, but backroll to revert is pretty easy to build on the backroll... Just launch a nice backroll (without thinking it'll go to revert because you'll launch a smaller one....at least I did) and when you can spot your landing just let go with one hand and look a bit towards the shore. I just got this trick down..it's pretty fun and once you get the timing it's cake!

There's no such thing as a ts frontflip. The hs frontflip is very difficult.

Your best bet is a scarecrow, hs roll to revert, or ts backroll. Or if you really want to be ballsy go for the raley.

I tried a raley a couple weeks ago and I still think my hip is a little sore from that one.

Ok, so TS Frontflip is ruled out then...does anyone ever do it? Are there any tricks that build off of it anyway?

Wakebrad, jake the great, yeah some say there is no such thing but some say there is. Think of it as a ts frontroll but with a tip to tip rotation rather than a rail to rail rotation. You could say it's just a variation to the frontroll though.
