Anyone else see the article/pictures on the other site about his appearance? God I wish he would start riding alot again.

dirtysparks, the issue is that he has basically been MIA for a year or so and apparently quit wakeboarding and went back to school and no one has heard or seen from him. He then magically reappeared and killed it in a demo, which i was pretty damn excited to see because he is arguably the most electrifying rider in our sport.

My comment conceited, i think not, it is most likely truth. A lot of people on this site are very uninformed of the history of our sport and the vandal was a corner stone of it. People just associate him with drugs and partying when they think of him because they have never even heard of the video Natural Born Thrillers or Shaft or any video preceding those that he demonstrated wakeboarding as an art rather than a computer program.

I can't stand the blowjobs you all give pro riders, but even I know who they all are. I seriously doubt anyone that rides halfway seriously doesn't know who Randall is. The guy kills it, but I could care less if he goes away. Or comes back.

well turning on espn probably wouldnt inform you of who he is/was when it comes to wakeboarding, but nice try. For the new fools out there, go pick up a copy of Retrospect and fast forwardto his section. Just look how big and stylish everything he does is. JT09 i def dont give blow jobs to over publizied pros, but vandell is def one who deserves some credit, besides the bad rep that follows him. Maybe i just see his side being ive probably done / tried most of his "party" favorites.

he does kill it though...

I just don't get the idolization of stars in any sport.

I'd agree that he is an inovator and a badass, I just don't see the adoration.

kyle, are you an door knob or just ignorant? Not everyone that rides has subscriptions to the magazines or buys wakeboard videos. I was just pointing out that even though lyman goes big like harris, aubrey probably is most similar trickwise and stylewise.
