Picking up the Pieces

My impeller imploded and sent chunks of rubber somewhere. I was able to get what looks like about half of the impeller pieces from the water pump.

WHERE did the other impeller pieces go?????

Is there a screen or filter to trap this stuff and if so WHERE and HOW do you access it?

I have a '00 Centurion with a 350MPI if that helps.

there is a place after the impeller where the shti would get trapped its like a round pipe thats striaght and wider the has grades in it and ill need a long tooth pick to get them out. I believe its right before where it splits one pipe to the tranny and one to the block.

bmartin, ha I work with malibus and the mechanics always make me do that since Im so small and skinny I fit in on the V drives. then they sit on there asses and watch!
