I am wanting to buy something new for my camera. I have a Minolta 7d, with kit lenses 28-80 and 75-300. If I were to purchase a new lense what should I look at next? Or should I get a new flash, currently using the built in? If I got a flash what should I look for? I like to shoot outdoors, both action and stills. Thanks.

Whats your price range? It looks like you've got most the range covered, you could start looking at higher end lenses.

2-3 hundred. I was almost thinking of a fisheye lens. I know you can photoshop fisheye, but I don't theink the results are the same.

The numbers on the lenses represents the zoom range.

Lop, Fisheyes would be cool, but it seems like archetecture shots are the only type that really work, course I havn't seen very many with a fisheye.

After my recent outing, I'm really wanting a ultra wide, my 50 isn't very good for big groups and small environments. I'll probably pick up a 24mm prime, or if I win the lottery a 16-35L... Mad

Laugh Damon, I had looked at a 50mm 1: 1.7 and a 24mm, I am just not sure what I want yet. I found a 17-35 mm F2.8-F4.0 with broken AF (doens't matter becuase most of the time I use manual focus) it's on ebay for $10 right now.
