Somewhat interesting, not really. Dude makes it sound like he is a seasoned rider. Maybe he is in on the Centurion NASCAR deal? Robby G is a not so well known driver/team owner, not very well liked usually. Not the typical NC country guy, from Cali I believe.

2. What's your favorite outdoor activity, other than racing?

Gordon: I love wakeboarding -- just playing out on the water. I couldn't tell you the most outrageous trick I like to pull, wakeboarding [because] there is so much stuff we do.

I just like getting nutty out there -- just being wild.

Doesn't sound like he was trying to say anything other than he likes to get out behind the boat. Kind of like 95% of this board. Why rip the guy?

For Robby to say wakeboarding says something. He has so many other activities at his disposal (that he is GOOD at), I am amazed wakeboarding is that high on his list.

If I see him @ Fontana next weekend I will mention the article.

He is from SoCal. Different sites have him listed in different cities, but he is a SoCal kid all the way.

8. What's your favorite section of public road in the United States?

Gordon: I think you'd have to look at that road that goes across the Appalachians -- what's that called? Oh yeah, the Blue Ridge Parkway.

I'd want to close traffic down, and then I'd want to get after it. Just stop the traffic coming the other way and let's have fun.

Quit advertising this place. Can't anybody keep a secret around here.

Robbie don't forget about the Dragon; why don't you tell people about that too.

I think it is pretty neat that he mentioned wakeboarding as well but I repeat the last statement as well. We got enough idiotic, redneck, morons on the water.

I wasn't, I'm actually a fan of Robby. I just figured the general crowd here would be far from interested. And he isn't very well liked by the a-typical NASCAR fan, thats one of his best qualities.

I would imagine he would be liked by the atypical nascar fan. He isn't a hick from the south (where many atypical fans don't come from). Confused

Yeah I know all about it. The dragon begins right down the road from were I live. I have seen it grow unbelievably through my life time. I remember as a kid going over to NC to fish and hardly any body but the rough neck crowd (Real Harley Riders) hanging out up there.
Now it is a completely different scene and to me it is both good and bad.
Good for people with businesses and bad for us that live around here and half to put up with all the crap that comes with it.

Oh well I have spent a lot of time on that road.

EMP912, Tail of the Dragon is awesome to ride. Not so fun in a 15 passenger van though. Also there are some interesting people in the mountains. Laughing
