I recently bought a set of size L '06 lf alphas and they killed my feet. I wear an 11.5 sneaker, and I have a very wide foot... EEE. Do you think an XL will do, or can I order a wide version? TIA!

How long have you been riding on the Alphas? I wear a 11 shoe and have a very wide foot. After a few rides and a guy with a larger foot used my Large Alphas they streached a lot.

I only used them one afternoon. My toes were numb by the end of my first pass, and after about 10 min, I couldn't stand it at all! |

I have 11 4E feet and started with Alpha XL's, had the same problem. They were real hard to get into too. Kept them about a month, probably not long enough for them to stretch out but I couldn't stand the pain. Bought a pair of Torque XL's and absolutely love 'em. Easy to get in and out of and are nice and cushy. Don't understand why they don't give you a place to put the laces though.......

I ordered some Alpha XLs. I'll see how they do this weekend. I'm going to try the hot water in the bath tub trick before I go out, maybe this will help with the break in process. We'll see....
