well after this weekend that involved a dozen or so hard face plants on simple tricks, like surface 180s and ollies , i m going to get a new set up.
i found good price on a 05 omega but its a blem. it has a small bubble on top. would this be worth 75$. i ve also decided to go with the alpha bindings, is this a good choice for a beginner. i was told from a begginer aspect i could ride ply would and wouldn't be able to tell the diffrence until i was able really tell a boards personality. any way if anyone has any info to help on this, thanks.

Ply wood might be an extreme, but yeah you won't really know what you're looking for in a board until you get your riding dialed in. I'd focus on getting the nicest boots possible at this point, and if you can get an 05 omega for 75, go for it.
