I'm looking at a new ski supreme and they have a metal plate at the back of the transom taking place of an adjustable wake plate. Does this serve to keep the boat from pourposing or just to shape the wake?
Does it have adjusters at all? If not, then it most likely is just for porpoising.
However, if it does have adjusters, it works the same as a hydraulic wake-plate, only it's done manually by hand.
No its just a solid plate about six inches long and 12 inches wide. I've seen them on some boats with the adjusters but this is just there thats why it threw me off.
