It's got the TBI chevy motor, its a 97. I'm sure I'll find it, but any information from someone with same issue could point me the right direction, that would be great.
Cruising back to the boat ramp last time out, the motor just went out. No sputter, do nothing. Like someone pulled the plug. it still starts and turns fine, there's just no spark.
I checked on the back of the alternator, there is a small 1/4" post with a wire, which goes to a little black plastic box, then beyond that, the wire is fried. It was green at one time. Did I fry the feed to the coil?
any info would be great. Thx. _________________ My beer drinking friends have a wake boarding problem. |

I have a similar problem happening to my 2000 Pro air. I'll be crusining home after a day of riding and it dies like someone pulled the saftey switch. Usually it will start running after it sits for a little and the next day it runs like a champ no problems. I replaced the spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor and it seems to be working better but I'm still not convinced it was the source of the problem.
One of my buddies who knows alot about cars said it sounded like a cilinder was running too rich? can you manually adjust the fuel injectors on the PCM motors? |

might want to check the fuses and also all connections
something might have been loose causing it to short out and fry the wire. _________________
