aluminum for slider top

In a big storm my winter boat shelter got crushed by a fallen tree and most of the bars that were the frame of it are still intact. It is 2" aluminum tubing.

Would a board or skate slide on it?

The slider where i ride has a plastic top and its like ice!!! Razz

If it was metal i think it might rust and may sereusly scrack your board but dont take this advise so hard because im not fully shor? Confused

Aluminum doesnt rust.

metal would slide...... in all the magazines and stuff they hit handrails practicly the same thing?

As long as the surface is smooth, It should slide. If it's roughed up, It might get kinda grippy. I'd think It would seriously tear up the edges of your board though...
