How do you convince the Mrs. to go out on the boat with you...

(I'm not married, but we have been together for about 2 years and she is still not coming.. She is afraid I'm gonna think she is fat >_<, which is rediculous haha.)

Any tips on getting her out?

She will be all for it, but when the time comes she changes her mind....

Do you mean going for a boat ride or wakeboarding? she being fat? did you ask her? If that is the real reason, make sure there arent many boat riders,especially pretty, slim girls in bikinis. I would feel bad too. Besides, she doesnt need to be in a swim suit anyway. In addition, geniunely, sincerely, sweetly, holding her hands (u get the drift) tell her how much it would mean to you if she could come out onto the boat at least once and share your joy for the world most wonderful sport. Wait, she doesn't want you to think shes fat and you've been together for 2 yrs? Have you never seen her in a swimsuit before??? I don't think thats the real reason... maybe she doesnt want to feel fat in comparison to the other boat riders. I would get her a nice boating outfit for example a cute girly boardshort (the longer ones) and one of those shirts that are trendy right now, the ones that are all loose and long, and then do as shazie said, ask her to come with you and tell her you even got her a special outfit for her to join you on your first day out on the boat together!!! Hope that works...

Is it your boat??? If it is, then plan a romantic wakeboarding getaway!!! Just the 2 of you, pack some food (would stay away from candles on this one though!) and head out, teach her how to ride... maybe take one of her friends with you, or maybe all her girlfriends on a sunny day and they can all get a nice tan

if she's never gone boarding before she might feel a little intimidated to learn in front of people who've been doing it for a while. she might feel like she'd just be making a fool out of herself. maybe instead of having your friends on the boat invite hers and they could try it too so that she wouldnt feel like such a newbie.
