Monster Tower Speakers

We are getting a monster tower this weekend from a local dealer and i was wondering about the tower speakers. he does sell them but im not sure for how much yet. On the web they r fairly low priced adn im not looking for any speakers that are over $800. With a fairly good (and cheap) amp will these speakers be any good when im getting towed behind the boat? get 2 sets of the second link 1st barrel there. your gonna need a really good amp to power speakers that u want to be heard behind the boat. you really would need to up your price a little bit or get 2 amps and max the ones u get. but there are plenty of speakers on the market that are good. u just need the amp.

if u really wana hear ur music without defining the people in the boat just pick up some waterproof housing for an ipod or the LF mp3 player.

I have the single barrels with Tantrum drivers powered by a Kenwood KAC-7202 and it's unbelievably loud. The total setup, w/ cables & amp and all cost me under $800. You can hear it a mile a way and it's crystal clear sound. Highly recommended.
