Jeff Heer talks about Chad Sharpe

Chad Sharpe recently did a six page interview for the March 2003 issue of Wakeboarding Magazine. In that interview Chad tells the story about how he made the move from Langley, Canada to Orlando, Florida with former Hyperlite pro Jeff Heer. We hunted down Jeff Heer to get his side of the story. So I'm getting ready to drive back to Florida and Chad this little punk bitch calls me up and says hey "When are you going back to Florida". I'm like tomorrow. "Well hey can I catch a ride with you" he says. I said yeah sure, does your mom know your going with us? "Oh yeah". So on the way there I said hey Chad where am I going to drop you off. He says just drop me off on the freeway. Ok sure. I live in West Palm at the time. So we start driving to Salt Lake City for a boat show. We get to Salt Lake City and we are with a rep named Scott Sims that isn't exactly a party animal, nicest guy in the world, just doesn't party. Chad is like 15 or 16. We work the boat show and there is a party. I'm like Chad, I'm not taking you to the party. Your 16 years old and if I see you there great. I'll party with you. I get there and Chad's already in the bar. He's there with Billy McCaffrey, Mike Weddington, CC Roberts. All those core guys.

Chad: Who's ID did I have?

Jeff Heer: Mine. So Chad gets fully wasted and we have fun. I get so wasted I go home and pass out on my bed fully clothed. I wake up and there is a cop tapping me on my shoulder putting me in handcuffs on my bed. I look over and there is Chad, sitting on the couch. In front of the cops I said I'm going to Bubb Rubbing kill you when I get out of these. I find out Chad and Zane were hungry and went into this VIP party on the top floor of the hotel and were breaking every planter on the floor. And then broke into the kitchen and they were eating the food out of the fridge. The security guard catches them pouring whip cream into his mouth. They drag his ass up to my room and I get arrested. They make me call his parents and his mom said please don't kill him. That was the talk of the boat show. We drove to Florida and he never got out in Orlando and it was the worst mistake I ever made. He never left. Because of him I've been in handcuffs 2, 3 times. What you guys don't realize is that Chad just got his first boat. What he doesn't realize is that I'm going to ruin his boat. He has ruined every boat I have ever had and now he's all anal and I'm going to ruin his boat.
