Redneck solution: Remember what cell phones used to look like? (not bag phones) big black bricks they were, I remember my father had an old phone like that probably from the late 90's. A regular sized iPod would fit snugly in one of the cases for these phones, they used to have completely clear front faces on the cases. Wouldn't be completely waterPROOF but would guard against splashes coming up and seeping in through the edge of the screen.

you guys are WEARING the iPod while riding? I figured you guys were trying to protect it while it's in the boat, maybe using an iTrip and the boats stereo. _________________ I'm new to wakeboarding I have:

You're not alone.
My boat has an Ipod jack.
It never occurred to me that someone would WEAR an Ipod while they were riding. _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

Bullsh*t he laughs all the way to the bank. Ipods are total & complete crap. But of course I have one because it is the only one that interfaces my stereo. _________________ My therapist says it is all your fault. |

Yea no need behind a boat with good tower speakers.. but nothing could beat catchin some tunes in the surf where boats and tower speakers dont play. Lookin into a water proof ipod case myself for that. Just dont know what will hold up to getting slammed into a sand bar and rolled four or five times... |

gene3x, Haha, true.
c0mp|ex, Do you have some sort of water proof headphones too? most headphones would allow water to seep inside. Maybe it's not such a big issue, as shorting out the audio circuit there would only make the music stop until you removed the water from the headphone circuitry. _________________ I'm new to wakeboarding I have:
