now a new problem is occuring, im dying on every backroll because im landing to faceplant or nose dive, ive landed like faceplant on my toes a number of times now and its starting to kill my neck, advice?

yes, hold your cut the whole way up the wake, keep the handle in, DONT LET OFF YOUR EDGE, pop off the wake and wait a little bit to throw the rotation (if you throw it too fast you will faceplant like you describe" dont overanalyze it..
