Well, that's what happens when you have more money than brains. Hate to hear the one girl got hurt and had her spleen removed.

Speed caused the accident. If the girl had been driving responsibly, it wouldn't have happened.

exactly! You can buy a new boat, but what if someone died?

Don't they have a depth gauge?

Confused

People are screwing up props around here all over. Just because they were close to shore doesn't insure anything safe around here. I have run up onto a sandbar in my old I/O with litterally 6 to 700 yards on either side of me.

Uhh, what the fug were they doing while driving? It looks like they were driving about four feet off shore.

At least the dad admitted to the huge irresponsibility by the kids in the accident. Sucks about the boat though, and the spleen too.

dang i could just see how that happend. I was just at lake powell 2 weeks ago and by reflection canyon or something like it there are some big ol rocks just sticking above water. i mean if it was 2 ft deeper you wouldnt see them and be up on shore. my freind took his raft out, since it wasnt to far from the houseboats, and he said that ontop of the rocks theres some big prop marks and there wass more that one of them.
