I have an 8 year old 141 hyperlite beginner board, and I'm thinking about upgrading, but I was wondering if newer, better wakeboards make a big difference. The wake I use is about a foot tall and we do not have a pylon or tower. Would a $300 or so wakeboard help me get higher and give me more hang time, or should I stick with what I have? If someone could help me out that would be awesome.

Also, I was looking at the Liquid Force PS3 and I can get it for around $250, would that be a good buy or not?

Thanks

first off yes def get a new board, new boards have more pop, are lighter, 3-stage rocker, second im guessing u still have the same 8 year old bindings so get new ones, and third i highly recommend u getting that ps3 for 250$ thats a great price.

I ride an 06' PS3 and it is an awesome board and that is a good deal, you definately need better bindings to go with your kickass board, and try to make friends that wakeboard also, they might take you out with them

I would get bindings first, unless you are happy with the ones you have.

Laugh Damon, I second that, IMO good bindings are the most important part of your setup.
