| It has a lot of critics.. But I absolutely love it. I'm on my second byerly board since the new design came out a few years back. Stepped down from a 142 to a 137 and it made a world of difference as well. Amazing edge and good solid pop. It fits a certain style so I definately recommend you try one first, but I've not had very many people ride my 137 byerly and not fall in love with it.

Ya man the rope does catch quite often! But other than that..... It is a good board.. very slow but good! If you like to do surface spins and all that probably isn't the board for you... But you know great pop and solid edge! Hope you like it if you get!
cheers man!

On my 04 the corners started to delam just a tiny bit.. fixed it with some suncure no problem. The new one hasn't had that problem yet but has only been out for 1 season and that one saw 2 seasons. Other than that, make sure its the lower board when mounted on the side mounting board racks as the rope can and will catch the corner of it during a turn around sometimes.

Ive never experience that while riding.. just from the board being mounted in a board rack in the higher position where the rope swings on a tower. Just due to the shape. Not a big deal.. just mount it in the lower position.
