So here it is my last few days in SoCal before I head out to my new job and life in FL.
I'm driving across country solo and thought how many people who peruse this site live along the I-10. Haven't decided if I'll leave Sunday (have to say good bye to the Family in San Diego) or Monday morning ( in case I get roped into any superbowl parties)
Just wondering how many of you I would come across along my journey and if you have any info/tips as I travel through your area.

I live on I-10 ... u can actually see the lake I ride on from I-10 ... if u remember u can look for it ........ Beaumont is east of Houston and past beaumont there is the neches river then off on the left there will be a couple sand pit lakes ... there is a big highline that goes down by em and if u look down it the second lake back there is the one I ride on ... we have planned to make a board shop out there and a skate park as well .. since there are neither in or area ... we wanna start holdin some comps out there as early as next year when we get some more sliders out there

im about an hour from I-10

may have noticed this already but...

when you get to Baton Rouge, take I-12, it brings you straight across LA back to I-10. I-10 dips down to New Orleans and traffic. 12 should be smooth sailing. Should save 45 min to an hour.

I live in Baytown, just east of Houston on I-10. You'll pass over a bridge where we ride. Good luck on your trip and be safe!

Don't know if I'll have my gear with me yet..... to many things happening right now. I'm on a fairly tight schedule to be in Orlando by the 30th no later than 31st.
