Here the exact boat. I hope KingPin won't mind me using his boat as an example.

Essentially the boat the dealeris selling is brand new, never touched water, in fact the boat never has had a prop on it. No trailer, fully loaded, with I think the upgraded engine, not sure. The dealer says it retails for 66k, and he is letting it go for 51k plus tax. I think I'm going to offer 51k tax included to see if he'll bite. The boat looks great, however my concern is, it only seats 10. I never will have more than 10 in the boat, however, I want something big enough for us to move around. I'm coming from a 2000 Mastercraft Xstar with a Beam width of 90 inches, and 20.5 feet long. This boat is slightly bigger with a beam width of 93 inches, and 21 feet in length, but 22.6 with the swimdeck.
Having thought about a Malibu wakesetter VLX which is actually 21.5 feet in length and 100 inch beam length, it really makes me feel whether I should spend the same amount on the 'Bu. If we were going to go with the Supra I listed in the original thread, the only one we would go with is the 24SSV Gravity Games. Just afraid about how hard this boat might be to manuever. Argh...the only thing the Nautique has is the 5 yr bumper to bumper warranty...
This is getting harder by the second. |

The 24 SSV is very manueverable boat for 24 Feet. It takes a little getting used to but once you get the hang of it its just like anything else. _________________ Supra owners join the group!

The SAN(210) is a GREAT boat, but if you are leaving the X-Star(X-1) for room.....I would not get the SAN. In fact, if you are going out with 7+ people on a regular basis, I don't know if this is the boat for you.
Fact is, the SAN is the same size as your X-Star.... It may have an inch here(I am under the impression that my boat has a 91" beam)....but the fact is, they are the same size relatively speaking.
Just my opinion...... |

If your talking about interior space and comfort, go with the 'bu. Our VLX interior is way more comfortable than anything from correct craft and mastercraft, though I have never been in a supra. For some reason the seats just feel better on you butt and back. _________________

It is a pig. But not an issue as you get used to it. my only regret is that there is one particular cove I cannot turn around in at speed without getting nervous. _________________ My therapist says it is all your fault. |
