|
|
I ride behind a 06 Malibu 23 LSV. I ride at 20 with the rope at 70-75 feet on average. I have noticed the Pro's I ride with have the rope all the way out but are going faster..
I can make it to the flats with that setup (20 mph/75 ft rope), but when I take the rope all the way out I case it pretty bad, and with the wake the new Bu's throw up, it kidna hurts.
Any speed recomendations from the experienced?
I have seen 22-25 on some other topics, is that accurate? |

| I would recommend stepping up your speed by 1-2mph and see how that feels. I generally ride in the 22-24mph range depending on how much weight is in the boat. Sometimes need to go a bit faster to clean up the wakes. Give it a shot see how you ride at about 22mph. |

| Yeah, you don't want to be casing the wake every time. If you are doing so either speed up or shorten the rope. I prefer 23mph. |

Alright, thanks guys.
I am fine with the rope at 70-75 ft, but I wanna go to about 80 or 85...
Thank you _________________
