My ballast pump just went out on the driver side rear sac. I called Mastercraft thinking a replacement for a reversable pump would be $50 maybe $75 tops. To my surprise the parts man told me it was a $241 replacement part. If thats my only option I guess I have to pay the piper, but damn. Does anyone have any other suggestions or options for a cheaper substitute? I have an 01 Xstar.

Those are pretty expensive (forward/reverse pumps). I think the most popular is the Jabsco Ballast Puppy...but I believe they're around that price range. _________________ '05 Supra Launch 24SSV
That sux man, I have an 02 MC and my pump went out too. Ive just been using my tsunami pump to fill and empty, and was gona look into replacing it this winter, but now that you say that, I may just say skrew it. good luck tho man.
