|
|
| Hey guys I'm new to the forum so first things first I love this site and have been draining it for knowledge since I found it--Anywayz I'm 6'3 235lbs. I'm gettin about two feet give or take a little ...even going w2w occasionally just not much height...I've only been out about 3 times w/about 2-3 sessions per so I know I've gotta lot of form to perfect(progressive edging ect..) just wondering if my size is gonna keep me from going huge like I see other people going?? I'm behind a bayliner 175 but the wake seems to be pretty cool..Thanx in advance |

Your not as big a guy I use to ride with and he would catch major air! He was behind an i/o also. The board and technique has everything to do with it. _________________ Lets Ride!

Thanx for the replies fellas...I figured I just need to work on my technique and practice ...I have gone kinda big(for me) about 4 ft. and I almost sh*t myself and ate it harcore...thats what its all about though!! can't wait to get back out there!!..Oh yeah I've been riding a friends hyperlite cruiser ?140ish? family board....but just got my 05' Gator Board Gator 141 in today I purchased from ebay..don't know a thing about the board except it was 109.00 bucks new so I'm hoping it kicks arse-----In my own defense I'm not a fat@ss I'm very athletic so I think that should weigh in my favor as for learning ect..just puttin that out there for the ladies |

Hey Dirt I am in the exact situation as you...i 2 am FORTUNATE enough to ride behind a bayliner 175 i/o and also a big guy 6'1'' and 200pds...I am just learnin but can get pretty decent air...I think it is all about learning ur progressive edge...and the techniques in order to get the air u want...
Peace and Love

Holy crap guys...
Is over 6' tall and over 180 lbs considered "big"?
I'm 6'1" 185 lbs, and never considered myself a "big" guy, but after reading these forums, tearing apart a set of bindings, and ripping the new bindings out of my board, I'm wondering if I really am "big"? |
