Hey, I'm going to buy a new board pretty soon and I've been looking at some different ones. I don't know much about them though. Does the higher the number (135, 140 , 145 ect.) mean the length of the board or does one give more pop and speed than another? If someone could explain it a little it would help alot. Thanks

alright dude sry about skipping out on you on AIM, but i had to go... for the board, the shorter the board = lighter, spinning machine. Longer = more pop, but heavier. Post up your height and wight, and that will determine what size board you need.I'm 5'11 and 160 pounds and ride a 138, but should have gotten a 134 because the Watson is 1/4 inch wider, therefore suitable for heavier riders. As it does depend on the model, you need to have your eye on a board and price range, and that will give you some sizes to choose form. hope this helped.

But what size do i need the 134 or 138. i can get the 134 pretty cheap cus it was a demo. And will my hyperlite 3060 bindings fit on it ro should i upgrade to some more current technology?
