Hey,
I was just wondering about how fast the boat should go when you're being pulled. I'm sort of a beginner, but i can get some air.
Thanks |

ya if you're new, 27 is prob not the best idea... i ride too far out and too fast(93ft, 27mph)... friend said it'd be easy and it about killed him on a few falls
20-22 is a great area for beginners and 22-24 is about the average _________________ Broke, Unsponsored, Carless, Broken donor cycle, 18 credit hours... and i drive to class wheeliein my sisters 49cc scooter... yea im bawlin |

| The guys I'm boaring with prefere about 19.8. Feels a little slow to me, but the wake is great at that speed, and you are going to make your own speed with your edging anyway. |

| I'd say 18 mph. 17-18 was where I started this year and now I'm up to 19-20 as I go bigger, work on spins, etc. |

I started at about 18mph also, and now am up to 20-23 range. First few times out 20-23 seemed very fast, but u do get use to it, I dotn think i could ever ride at 27! We use a 65' rope. _________________ Lets Ride!

You get used to more and more speed as you go, I started at like 18 behind a searay, and when we got our wakesetter I went up to 21.5. From there I just kept steadily increasing to 24, right there's the perfect wake behind our boat _________________

If you're newbie rider, wakeboard at what ever feels comfortable for you. Make sure the boat is going fast enough so the wake doesn't have any wash on it. The faster you go the easier it will be to go wake to wake though. Start with a shorter line length as well. That should help. Also the faster you go the less drag you have in the water and the longer you should be able to ride for. I like to ride around 24.4. That way I can jump the wake pretty easily on my toeside as well. Anything slower and I case every once in a while on my toeside. |

| Also, I am boarding behind a SeaDoo, so the wake is smaller too. |

i would say for a beginner no more than 21 mph... about 18-21... probably like 18 when you're working on surface tricks and like 20-21 when you're trying jumps... later on when you're getting better i'd say bump it up to no more than 22-24 imo _________________
