simple plan, sugar cult, boxcar racer, get up kids, riddlin kids, saves the day, new found glory, Good Charlotte, Rufio- go for "just like a prayer". that is a great version of the madonna calssic.

i was lookin for stuff on kazaa and found an awesome korn + tool + staind + chevelle song----not sure if it really is a mix of em all but is a good song called "Idle"

if u get the chance u need to check out the riddlin kids live---thre show is probably up there in the top concerts i've ever seen----great fun

josh ~ i saw the goo goo dolls and third eye blind over the summer and i thought they were one of the top 2 concerts i've ever been to (3 doors down, fuel & oleander kicked @$$ too)...

who are they touring with - do ya kno?

they weren't touring with anybody---it was before they got real big...they played around here a lot when they were first starting up----there was a very bad punk band that opened but i forgot the name just remeber how bad they were

I have been hearing a song by Korn, shoots & ladders, which is pretty cool. The lyrics are all nursery rhymes.

partyb ~ yeah - its an older Korn song, but its pretty cool. the opening to it is different... lol

the lyrics are awesome, even tho its a guy talkin about a chick, u can turn the names around and say it in a chicks point of view too:

b-rad: that rufio cover is one of the best ever i think. i have the whole pop goes punk cd. it's alright. there's probably 5 really good covers on it, but there's a lot of indy bands. fearless records couldn't even register the rights to it probably b/c the label was too poor

Yeah my roomate has it. I think the punk goes pop is good. Defineitly a change from the norm. I also like NFG's album that has only the cover songs on it. The never ending story one is good. I was able to see Rufio, Sugar Cult and the Ataris here in Austin when they came through on there last tour. Good show!

Rufio was great! I think sugar cult put on the best show out of all of them though. They got the crowd into more and seemed really happy to be there playing. I recomend seeing them if they are ever around when you have a chance.
side note* just picked up the new 2 pac better dayz cd. Sounds good, most of it sounds like stuff from the R U still down cd. Disc 2 is kind of mellow, but it has a lot of good beats.

Check out Thousand Foot Crutch... I still have yet to sample a lot of their songs, but from what I've heard they're decent... some songs sound like a toned down Kid Rock, others are a lot different... decide for yourself... I still am..

Yea finger eleven is a great band- My old bass teacher now friend , owns a recording studio and next week we get to recrod in the same studio as finger eleven !( they recorded in his studio when they were called Rainbow butt monkeys)
