just wanted to see if anyone found some good new songs to put on a mix that im making...

12 stones & trapt - have both cd's and they're great. josh, if you like all those bands, check out that maroon 5 song that i posted. i think u'd like it alot.

Heard it today, one of my all time favorite songs. Excellent drums in that song!

quiggly ~ dude... i didn't mean to make fun of them.. i was just asking a question. i was watching hook the other day with twerp, so it just came to my mind. didn't mean to make fun, sorry...

trapt is awesome. i was listening to 'headstrong' last night while i was on the stairmaster at the gym haha. its a great song to work out too.

hardcore ~ glad to know that someone else listens to theory of a dead man aside from me lol

ryan_m always gives me the newest and best songs from jack johnson. i have 'flake' on an older mix of mine and i LOVE it.

w8kechick ~ i have this huge punk rock cd with the dead kennedys and a whole bunch of the greatest punk bands. guster is great - 'barrel of a gun' is one of my fav's from them...

chuckee - do u like 2pac? the new acoustic version of 'thugz mansion' is AWESOME

sean: i agree w/ u on thursday and millencollin, but boxcar is terrible. it's just blink 182 2. they're very unoriginal. blink's new cd's gonna be terrible. what little respect i lost for them (which was travis) is lost now. they're using electric druns in it. it's gonna sound so terrible.

john: ur right, but what would u classify dashboard as? u can't jsut put them in straight emo. in cd stores they put dashboard under emo. they also do that w/ jimmy eat world and the juliana theory but they aren't punk. but the weird thing is that they put something corporate, which is a emo punk band, in the pop section.

Yeah, some of that's weird, but I would still consider DC emo. Now if it was listed as Gangsta Rap, that would be strange.

yeah - all of those are great bands. boxcar racer's 'there is' is a cute romantic song.

im really feelin maroon 5 tho guys... seriously, check them out

Chukee_R those bands def arnt "punk rock" punks more like Sex pistols and ramones or the clash RIP joe s....In my eyes punks not around anymore....too mainstream and trendy.....if you want rap/hip hop get something like hieroglyphics and souls of mischief not 50 cent hes just horrible
