|
|
okay... my new board will be arriving next week... so i'm thinking of getting a new pair of bindings... which one though? any insights would be greatly apprieciated... here's what i'm considering
HYPERLITE (my last bindings were 04parks and 04temets)
parks
murray
*how is the closed toe of the murrays?
*are they any lighter than the 04's which seem heavy compared to LF
LIQUID FORCE (i know they are very light)
watsons
transit
alpha
*how are the base plates nowadays? i used to have 03ultrasucs but the plates would flex when i'd do air tricks on the cable
CWB
zeus
faction
*is the hinge system any good?
O'BRIEN
how are their bindings? |

I have the '06 Torq Hinge and LOVE them. A friend of mine just ordered the "07 Faction Hinge to go on a new HL Murray L7. I'm sure they'll be awesome. The hinge RAWKS!!! _________________ Hilton Head Wake Sports.com

cant go wrong with the watsons if you thrive on ankle support, going from the 06 3ds to the watsons i still felt like i had good support, watsons are super light too, VERY stiff baseplate, the new LF pro plate works like clockwork, with near zero flex _________________ finally got my boat!!!

| used murrays today for my first time. I did not like them at all, they were comfortable yet i could move my whole foot, and i had no edging in them. Aswell i tried the eras, they were a lot better, very nice but tight on the pinkey toes. I myself have a pair of 06 LE Spinxs, there amazing, they have stiffened up a bit since last year, very comfortable, yet i cand poke tricks very nicely. |

I wouldn't go Hyperlite Binding if you are getting 06's. They have had a lot of problems and LF and CWB from what i know have had none! _________________ "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."

I have heard that the new design of the 06 HyperLite boots is not very good. I have heard of them ripping and stuff. _________________ Check out my wakeboarding video on my myspace!!! go to

wakeywakey, basically quality man. A few of my friends with 06 Hyperlite Binding have had problems. Like i am not saying minor things either. The other day we were on the lake and my friend caught edge on a front roll and when he came out of the water his feet went straight through the front of the (2 week old) '06 3DS's. Another friend ripped his after about a month! An a lot of problems with The byerly's as well. I would probably go with the factions or a LF binding man. I posted it on another thread as well but if you want closed toe bindings... Go Shane's.. No problems that i have seen or heard of from them! _________________ "The true measure of a man is how he treats someone who can do him absolutely no good."

The LF's i find pretty heavy actually, the pro models are supposed to be lighter but the plates have been snapping on some of them, i have 06 transits and i was surprised how heavy they were, i still love them tho |

Go CWB. The hinge system is super easy to get in/out and give you a lot of support and your foot won't move. I sent my torq's back because i ripped the back rubber overlay and i'm getting the factions in about 5 days. _________________ I love the smell of napalm in the morning |
