OK i desperately need help on landing 3 different tricks that I've been struggling with for a while. I've tried all these tricks to many times to count so please help me. I'm very close on all of these tricks but jus can't seem to ride away.
Tantrum-landed 2 but usually turn half of a FS 180 and the rope gets ripped out on landing.
Backroll-landed none. Same problem as tantrum.
360-landed none. Not so much the landing but I CANNOT find that handle behind me. I'm fine with surface 360's and on the trampoline but it feels like I can't pull the handle in when I'm actually tryin them. _________________ I can do that. |

Can't help you on the tantrum. I do the exact same thing... thinking about giving up on the regular tantrum and just throwing that 180 in there.
If you wait a few days i will put a video of mine on here cause i need help bad. Watchin video helps so much, i already know i don't square up with the edge enough and don't throw my head back what so ever. If you stay looking at your board after the pop and let that handle out, chances are you'll twist.
I'm not a 100% on 360, but what helps me if going w2w for a little and then when i edge in the last thing i think about is the 360 (helps me from throwing it on the wake). Looks badass throwing it a lil later too. Another huge thing for beginners is pull that handle to your back hip with BOTH hands. Your left hand needs to get behind your back, so might as well pull with that hand as well and then quickly reach with the left hand. When ever you are not wakeboarding mentally visualize that handle pass, it helps so much. The rotation is easy, the handle pass makes the trick. They might as well just change the name of the trick to "handle pass or double handle pass"
Good luck on the backroll, i wanna try one this weekend finally.
And have fun. |

here is what i do, when i pass the handle on the three, i kind of turn it so that the long ways of the handle is facing down, as if the entire part where i grip is going to shove in my ass crack, that gives you TONS more room in which to find the handle, just get a stick or something and try it out on dry land while spinning, then jump up and do a 3 in the air and find the mechanics of the pass _________________ finally got my boat!!!
