Hey. Ok iam a intermediate rider iam staring to learn tricks and i am looking for a board. I believe i found one but it has six fins which makes the ride more like a surfboard and alot stiffer and alot more grippy. I was wondering if i do not put on all of the fins would it give me a looser feel or should i find another board for a looser feel.
thank you |

| well, define intermediate. and for the fins, riding it without would make surface tricks hella easier, but landings would be washy. if your board has molded in fins, like mine, then finless would let it slip a little, but it still has fins to help. it's all a preference. |

| if you put less fis on it will give you a little less control but who cares you dont need six fins on a wakeboard so you can even ride finless if you like so its all about preference |

| Robert Harp, taking the fins off makes the board more forgiving actually, so i thelps the landings if anything. |

rukuswake, Yup, it'll feel looser and like others have posted, it can make landings easier as it'll give you a little slip....experiment wit hjust the two outer fins and maybe no fins at all and see what you like... _________________ just broad reachin' thru life... |
