Ok, so im at the beach right now, and have been wakeboarding on the bay side. I have managed to learn to get up almost every try and I can go back and forth within the wake. I would now like to be able to leave the wake but I have been unable to do it. I got out once, but fell very shoryly. Does anyone have any adivice on how I should get out of the wake? Thanks in advance!

It sounds like you are doing the same thing my sister does. Im not sure, but if you are turning the board while keeping it flat in order to move around then it will be much more difficulty to get outside the wake then if you jsut learn how to use your edges to turn.

you could be leaning too far back when you are coming out so you slip out or leaning too far forward so try to just keep your weight even and maybe "pump" the wake and that helps so ya

Don't think of it as turning. If you have ever been on a snowboard or skateboard, you know that to go in one direction or the other you shift your center of mass over your heels or toes by bending your knees and leaning in that direction. This is the act of edging and what you should be doing. If you edge through the wake you will stable as all hell and not even need to worry about biffing it.
