Malibu hull question

Is the '96 Sunsetter VLX the same hull as the '01 Wakesetter VLX?

the base hull is the same - there were a couple minor mods made. Also most older ones dont have a wedge - but you can get the wedge 23 installed at your dealer

The other changes would be dash layout - 01 had a new design with better visibility. 01 has more horses under the cover - the 96's mostly used a 285 hp mercruiser while the 01s came mostly with a 325hp indmar

Overall there were minor changes to the boat - but the hull is the same.

the hull is the same, same with the 95 sunsetter as well. 95 is the year i have, if our thinking about buying one you will love it. get the wedge though, the wake is huge Very Happy
