| Is that Boss Adjustable Tower really any better than a Joystick Rollcage or Barewest MiniTower? |

What makes it much better is the Boss Mounts. Boss is known for their high quality mounts and the Boss Adjustable Tower uses these same mounts. Some similar looking towers have mounts that resemble piano hinges, have 1/8 inch play, and are not silent.
When you consider the superior Boss mounts and that you can get the Boss Adjustable Tower for $695 with free shipping and no sales tax, this one is by far the best choice.

If your willing to spend a few buck more ($895) check out our tower at www.MonsterTower.com as we were in about the same though process as you a few years ago. You have lots of options now in the under $1000 range.
Check out www.BigAirPylons.com and www.13thfloortowers.com as other options in the sub $1000 range. Ours or one of the above may do you right. It's really the tower you like the best. Overtons carry's the Typhoon at about $1200 I think.
Our goal was to provide the look and quality of the $2000 towers at the price point of the low end towers by leveraging ONE design with high volume instead of many designs that are custom build. We've only been around about a year, first local to Atlanta, GA and hopefully some of our customers will pipe in, as well as customers of other towers.
You can build your own as well, check out www.diyTower.com for links to some great resources.
If you like our's go to www.monstertower.com/895 to save $100 off our MSRP.

The Boss Adjustable Tower is really designed for people with a run-about boat and don't really want an extended pylon that crowds out the center of the boat and adds an ugly cable that also crowds the open bow on many boats.
Pylons run from about $300 to $400. Once you consider the Wakeside Award Points, the Boss Adjustable Tower ends up at an effective $625.50. This inexpensive tower is only $225 higher than an extended pylon and it's Boss qualtiy.
For many with this type of boat, even the $225 is a stretch but Boss did them a great favor by making it more attainable. This tower has become the hottest seller at Wakeside.com and we are now selling more of these than extended pylons.

| Id have to agree with the monster tower folks on this one. I'd go with the Monster Tower spend a couple hundred bucks more and get a way better tower. I think boss is just trying to compete on the low end on this one they really haven't brought anything new. The mounts are good but are they way better than the comp no. The looks are the same as the others. Save up a bit more and go with the Monster Tower. Im also with Vikingsextreme107 it is ugly. |
