So i attempted another backroll, cased the second wake, hurt my right knee, dropped the rope Mad. So now my knee is sore, the back of my knee anyways. Dont know what i did, but it doesnt hurt all the time, just seems i put pressure in the right spot and the sharp pain comes back. Anyway w/o going to the doctor to see if i tore something? Money is kinda tight around the house, so doctor is not really an option. Just gonna hold off on riding for a while Crying or Very sad

I had surgery to remove some torn cartilage about 4 months ago. About 1 month ago, I had a bad landing on a crow and I thought I had facked my knee up again. It was simply just a hyperextension which cleared up after about 2 weeks (I didn't stop riding though). You could have a similar problem. Try to do some research on knees and pin-point the pain so you can see if you can tell for yourself what the problem is.

BTW, I find it comical that your financial situation is too tight to visit a doctor but you have enough funds to fuel your boat. Don't you have insurance? Depending on your insurance, a doctor visit is probably just a $20 co-pay.

That's if he has insurance. The co-pay won't necessarily cover the diagnostics ( eg...xray, mri, ......) or medications.

I did some searching, but only something called a baker's cyst applies to the back of the knee. Im gonna keep looking. As for the boat comment, i make my own money, pay for the boat, gas, etc. My parents however have insurance and cover doctor's, dentist, that stuff. Our concrete company is having a rough time right now w/ all this rain, so money is tight w/ them. I dont know whether to just wait it out or what.

Two years ago while snow-skiing I had a strange fall and tweaked my knee pretty bad. I suspect I mildly sprained or strained something is all because after a few months the pain went away.
Here's a web article on posterior knee pain(below) so you can try and do some more self diagnosing. A Baker's cyst sounds like a probable possibility. Hope this helps.

Ibuprofen does wonders. Not much of a pain killer, but kills the inflamation for me.
