Hi!
I am just looking for some opinions on these two boards... I am a beginner -- can get up and carve fine. I'm looking for a board that will let me progress to some beginner jumps. Obviously about a $200 price difference -- wondering if it is worth it. I'm 5'1 and about 112 lbs. Not sure if the 128(Diva)/130 (Angel) or a 134 would be most appropriate.
I've always used friends' boards (all male), so they have always been a little big for me...So I don't really have a clue as to what would be best. Any advice from those more experienced would be appreciated.
Thanks! |

| Well to be honest, when I went to the Maven tour clinic I watched someone who was a beginner riding the Angel and the pro told us it was a little too fast for her. I rode on the Diva and I liked it pretty well, I have had a lot of people say they liked it alot too. For your size I bet the 128 would be fine. |

I am pretty new to wakeboarding and have the LF Diva 134.
I love it! It has been a really good board for me and I feel like I get better everytime i am out. I'm 5'4" and 130. I was similar to you before I got mine I was on a friends board and it was too big.
I can't say I have been on the Angel so I dont have much to compare to. _________________ "It must be the moonlight or the bottle of goldslagger that brings out the romance in a girl" - Out Cold |

| IMO the diva will be just fine for you! It has enough pop that you can basically do any beginner tricks. I think the Angel will be too advanced. |

| Having ridden both boards for extended periods of time, I've liked both. The Angel was quick and could cut really well but I was never completely comfortable on it. The Diva was a very very consistant, stable board that allowed me to get backrolls no problem, where I was a little less comfortable with the Angel. If you can, try both and see what you like. The Angel is a very fun board, but so is the Diva. Don't let the "beginner board" stereotype fool you, there's no such thing! |
