my dad just bought me a brand new 02' x-star....i was wondering how ya'll weight yours? i put 200lbs of lead in front and 250lbs lead in back + the ballast tanks

Did you buy the Red one at the boat show? It is a very sharp boat, I am looking at a black one that they have as well.

Ross - SWEET boat! I was checking that out on Thursday at the show.

Personally, I would start w/ just the standard ballast - That boat makes an awesome wake with the standard ballast to begin with. Then step up with 350 or 500#s in each locker and go from there. If you want to add another 500 up front, you can, but that is a HUGE wake.

I live right across from Hula Hut, up the street from Lake Austin Marina, you can pick me up as soon as it gets warm!

Ive been in an 02 X of my friends and we weight it like this stock ballast full,350 on each side of the engine and 600lb sack in the bow..The wake is huge and perfect trust me more weight isnt bad..Id wait until maybe 20 hrs before i start this though..break it in with stock ballast then blow it up Laughing
