I got to ride today and I got tired of doing grabs and 180 and such so I decided to try a scarecrow. I havent ever tried them before, but I could do them on the tramp all day long. The first attempt I spun all the way around and almost landed it, but I cased the wake and that threw me off. The second try was more of a front flip and I busted on that one. I said I wanted to try one more time, and this time...BAM! Stuck it. We were all so pumped, expecially me considering that I got in on my third ever attempt! I put some pics in of the scarecrow and the days session...Enjoy!

Thanks fellas... It was real bad on that part of the lake, but I wanted to get a shot of me doin somethin under the bridge so I did that tail poke. Around the bend it got better though...

Hey, that's awesome man. I'm a newb and can't do much yet, but I love to see some of you more experienced guys land new stuff because I see that there's hope for the future haha. Anyways, I saw you out there today. We had just come out and I was tightening my bindings up when you guys came around the bend and you popped some big air. No one in my boat has ever really been exposed to much good riding, and they just stared and said, "he's pretty good." haha. I saw you jump once before you passed, and I just said, "Now that the example has passed, it's time for the project and faceplants to begin." Anyways, congrats on the scarecrow.
By the way, it was pretty windy at times out there today, so that makes the success even sweeter.

BIGMAC, Ya dude the wake on that boat is huge..... Maristar 245 w/ X-45 ballast, tower and platform.... and i dont know what all else it has but it has a perfect wake!

HHI Dave, burntorange77, well i tried to post the video. My good computer cant get the internet right now for some reason, so I have to put all of my pics on a disk, and then put them online with this crappy computer that Im using now. But for some reason the computer isnt reading the disk after I put the video on it to transfer it... Im workin on it though!

CaM2816, thanks man, I dont know for sure how much ballast is in it. Its a maristar 245 with X-45 KGB ballast, one port, one starboard, and one center tank. As far as the melan is concerned, the first trick in the video where I busted was actually my last attempt after I landed it and Ive only got one hand on the handle but I just couldnt grab it...

CaM2816, Ive been practicing them on the trampoline for awhile, but I had never tried them because, if you can recall in one of jhill's posts, one of my friends broke his leg casing the wake on a crow so that kind of held me back a little. Also, Im pretty pumped that I was able to spin it exactly how I wanted. Some people throw them out the back and really low, and dont pop. I think they look much better when you pop up and forward, flip, and then spin...I think I did a pretty good job.
Oh yah, and Im about 6'1"...

| That sweet, Scarecrows are probably one of my favorite tricks. Once you get it dialed try an Elephant, you just gotta rail it a little harder and at the last second pull it around to regular, feels really cool and stalled out. Good work, don't grab Tindy.
