Any tips on doing these? Are they easier taken bigger and what approach do you use? Most of the time I see people doing them into the flats...maybe that gives you more time and more rope tension to pull it back around. What about handle placement?
-Thanks in advance

| This trick is harder than it looks IMO. I just started doing them this year. Theyre definetely easier when you take them big. Use a standard progressive edge, but cut a little harder than normal (take it big). For me, the most important thing to remember is to pop and get comfortable in the air before I do the shifty/grab. Then suck up your knees as you turn BS and grab the board. Keep the handle at your front hip. When your done, just pull the handle back to the center of your body and land. Good luck

you hit the wake heel side. turn a 90 in the air so your facing opposite from the boat and grab, i like to grab indy and poke out.

| Sweet, thanks for the tips. It does seem like this trick would be easier to grab and poke doing it tindy or tail. I just worry about turning BS too early and getting off balance and crashing on my back when I can't pull it back around!

I think it helps a lot to try and keep the handle a little behind you (by your arse), not so much hip. That will get you to come around a little more and put some style on it.
