I was a loyal Ski World customer in Santa Rosa Ca until they closed up shop. The one in Pleasanton is 90 minutes away. I need an Alternator for my 2000 MC. So I called Ski World in Pleasanton and got imediate help and a price ect...... I Called Ultimate Water Sports in Rohnert Park (15 minutes away) called 3 times before they answered the phone then the parts guy was busy, Left a message. Nobody called back right away. So I called again. finally got through to find out that a normal alternator for a Mastercraft isnt stocked and it wil be 1 -2 weeks to get it. WHAT!!!!!!!!! COPE MC PHETERS, PLEASE DO US MASTERCRAFT CUSTOMERS A FAVOR AND GIVE THE LINE TO SHOP THAT CAN AND WILL HELP US!!!!!!!!!! And this is not the first time this type of thing has happened........ but probably the last...... _________________ www.riverratwakeboarding.com |

Hey, hit me back personally and I am sure I can help (skurfgod@sbcglobal.net). If Ski World has it, Ultimate has it at one of their stores. I'll be happy to try to help.

After talking to some current MC owners about Cope I decided to buy a Nautique instead. Having a boat in the shop for 6 weeks for a $10 warranty part wasn't for me.
Then again Cope sells million dollar yachts in Seattle. So as you can imagine the dinky MC boats represents very little of Cope's volume. _________________ I hope the weather is calm as you sail up your heavenly stream |

| lcap, Last I checked, Copes in Seattle carries Four Winns and did carry Seaswirl, neither of which makes anything close to a million dollar boat. |

I really wanted an X-2 BAD. Had my colors and everything dialed but talking to other MC owners turned me off. Looking at their show room with 38' yachts and the service department full of them I figured it may be more profitable for them to cater to the guys that have the big boats. Some of the boats I saw on the floor made the X-2 look like a tub toy.
Hopefully they get the service department worked out. For all I know it's much better now because this was in the February of 03 (I think). _________________ I hope the weather is calm as you sail up your heavenly stream |

| C&M in Seattle (Renton) fired the service manager in the spring. The store manager, Jeff, is running service himself. He recognizes he has had a problem and is working hard to fix it. He's a good guy. |

K-dub, I swear you work at the only good Ultimate/Copes/Ski World.
I love how they are advertising a "Competition" sale here between Copes and Ultimate. The winner? Copes, the loser? us. _________________ Steal My Book
