Forever I've always wanted to wakeboard.. so I finally bought one.

Liquid Force Stance w/ Switch bindings..

Total bottom end bored but I like it.

Anyways first time I try to get up I almost do but fall, and then second time I got up.. I had no idea what I was doing.

So after a while i fell.. and when I tried to get back up I couldn't get out of the water to save my life. About 10 tries later I said forget it and we took a break.

Went back out like an hour later, my Dad got up on a slolom ski for the first time in forever (and rubbed it in all day hah). And then I tried again.. same thing, couldn't get up. I would just sit there in the water and the board would plow like crazy untill I couldn't hold on anymore.

So I remember reading that someone got up by just putting the whole board underwater (facing like how you would be riding) and leaning back a little and it worked great.. so I tried that.

Sure enough it got me on the water.. it was really easy. After about 10 times of getting up doing that I was getting pretty decent at it.. having to let go maybe like every 1/5 times because I messed up my placement in the water or the board went sideways.

By the end of the day I was turning a lot more and could cross the wake and such.. but omg I'm very sore. One time I tried to jump as high as I could and fell and got ripped out of the bindings.. it was hillarious.

Anyways I thought I would just share my story.. thanks for reading. Now I'm looking into buying a tower for our boat.. I need to stop spending money..

Right on buddy. Make sure you have a non stretch line, it is more important than a tower.

Skip the tower, you dont need it.

Buy a nice spectra rope, learn to edge and your grand.
