I keep browsing topics/websites/etc but I am not finding a simple answer to a simple question. Do boards need specific bindings, or can you mix and match? I ask this because mixing and matching can save some cash.

Thanks, and sorry if someone already asked this before.

You can mix and match, just be willing to go down the the hardware store and get yourself some bolts/washers

ouch, wont that be rough on your boards? Or a better question, how would you properly bolt/washer bindings to a board? I just know I would mess up something simple like that.

Nope, it would actually be worse for the board if you have a screw that is too short. If it is a Hyperlite boot going on a Liquid Force board, you'll have to get some washers. If you use washers, they will go where the screw meets the boot, not where the boot meets the board...

Right on, i had heard things where sometimes the curve of the board didnt fit the bindings, people said use washers, I wouldnt THINK you would put them on where the boot meets the board, just needed some confirming (if for SOME reason you would have).
